Citrus County has 150,000 people. There's no shortage of business directories pointed at us — most of them are run from somewhere else, by people who couldn't find Homosassa on a map, charging local businesses to be listed alongside their competitors with no real audience attached.
We figured locals deserved something better. So we built it. The Citrus Saver is the deal engine — every day, real deals from real local businesses, filterable by category, neighborhood, or what you actually feel like spending money on. Free for anyone with an email to claim. Paid for the businesses that run them.

How it works.
Businesses claim their listing on The Citrus Saver and verify ownership. Once verified, they pick a tier and start posting deals: a percent off, a dollar off, a BOGO, a freebie. The deals show up on the homepage and on the businesses' pages.
When you find a deal you want, you tap to claim it and show the screen at the register. The business confirms it on their end. No app to download. No coupon-clipping. No QR scavenger hunt. Just locals finding good local stuff.
Local
Per quarter. Claimed listing, 5 photos, 3 active deals at a time, merchant dashboard, post events for free. For most Citrus County businesses.
Featured
Per quarter. Everything in Local, plus 10 photos, 1 video, unlimited active deals, featured placement, homepage carousel, auto-featured events. The middle gear most businesses pick.

Per quarter. Everything in Featured, plus 20 photos, 3 videos, top-of-homepage rotation, category leader badge, priority search, monthly performance email. For businesses that want to dominate their category.
What we won't do.
We won't sell your email. We won't pad the directory with national chains that already get plenty of attention. We won't run "deals" for businesses that don't actually exist. We won't take a revenue share on redemptions. We won't charge you to claim a coupon. We won't make you download an app.
This is meant to be a tool that helps locals find good local stuff. Anything that gets in the way of that, we'll cut.

The Citrus Saver starts in Citrus County and gets it right here before going anywhere else. Once the model is proven — businesses signing up, deals running, locals earning Saver Stamps — we'll bring the same platform to other small Florida counties. Each one gets its own local crew, its own brand, its own businesses. Hyper-local at scale.
If we get that right, this becomes a piece of infrastructure for the small towns that the big platforms forgot about. Like the local paper, or the courthouse-square Christmas tree lighting. Just more useful.
